Doctors Without Borders
Haiti turned my world upside down.
It really gave me a new perspective about how lucky we are in the United States, how helpful modern medicine is, how grateful we need to be but are not, and opened my eyes to a whole new world.
Throughout this process my goal was to determine whether or not Doctors Without Borders is an effective operation, and after researching more about Doctors Without Borders and my personal experience in Haiti, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is effective; however, the organization still has a ways to go in order to help as many people as possible.
